I went to a junkyard for the first time to find some suitable 5.0 Blocks for my project, but it sure is sad as hell to see stuff like this; like this Fiero GT. :(

This was a 924 :(

It's just so sad to see such fantastic cars just sitting around here waiting to be scrapped or torn apart for parts.

Some can be saved though. This Datsun was sold hopefully for restoration.

I'm going to a different one this afternoon to see what else I can find, hopefully some actual Mustangs. It really is fun to see cars I've never seen before, but so sad to see them like this.

What junkyard did you go to? Also, if you happen to see a Caddy tailgate while your out in your search hit me up, I want that shit.

I went to Parts Galore in Detroit yesterday, I'm going to the slightly bigger location in Warren after work. I'll see what I can find, is there a specific Caddy tailgate you're after? Any pictures for reference?

Just one of these. Condition doesnt really matter as long as its readable since its not going back on a truck. These fuckers are unbelievably hard to find.

Okay, hopefully it shouldn't be too hard to find. I'll have about an hour and a half there so hopefully I can find one. I'll take some pics of them and send you them if you'd like. I'm actually wondering if I saw one like that yesterday.

No worries, this'll be a fun challenge, putting my car spotting skills to the test to find this part. And it'll be fun exercise too! I've never seen a VW truck too, so this will be extra fun for me. Any other parts you'd be interested in?

Hopefully I'll find something in this huge lot!

Just a guess on my part, but maybe a mid-70's Mercury Bobcat or a Ford Pinto Squire?
